About Kim

Kim is an Orange County-based classically trained vocalist and harpist, specializing in private events. Her love of music stemmed from her parent’s CD collection: Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion being memorable influences. Kim is a graduate of Chapman University with two Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Education. In 2016, she received the prestigious Herb Alpert Emerging Young Artists Scholarship during her tenure with the California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA), and continues her involvement as an alumni. In her career, she has also premiered several newly composed solo and chamber works in collaboration with upcoming, diverse composers, and has performed in reputable choral ensembles internationally.

Kim studies with the principal harpist of the Pacific Symphony and Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Kim's signature sound fuses her love of singing with harp to create an ethereal atmosphere that ranges from classical to indie pop. She has performed at numerous private events, bringing her unique talents to upscale engagements. Outside of performing, Kim runs a private studio of voice, piano, and ukulele students.
